The LCI mission is to deliver a competitive edge to Clients through the application of innovative, time sensitive and cost effective Integrated Supply Chain, Logistics and Information Technology processes and operations.

The LCI Mission Statement:

LCI achieve their mission through the use of in-house skills and by the creation of specific Teams of external Contractors and Suppliers to deliver a ‘Total Solution’ for Main Roads. No job is too large or too small for LCI and their Strategic Partners.

The Total Solution may be:

  • As complex as the design, construction, and installation of a new high technology logistics facility, plus the sale of the old facility, as a ‘Turn Key’ solution.
  • As specialized as the development of a Logistics Strategy or Integrated Strategic Business Plan that meets the needs of the Business, or Helping people make effective use of Information and Technology. or

  • As simple as advice on warehouse layout, or the conduct of an In-house Training or Planning Sessions.

The LCI Approach is based on continuous interaction with all levels of the Client’s Management and Staff to develop a “Partnership” which facilitates the continuous transfer of knowledge and skills from the Consultant to the Client’s Team.

The aim of this skill transfer is to progressively reduce The Client’s dependency on external support and to assist in the joint development of plans and recommendations.

The LCI approach to all projects is based on the following principles.

  • Right People. All of our consultants have had experience in Line Management and Logistics. Our people are practitioners and not theorists.
  • Practical Experience. With our consultants we ensure that the right experience is available and utilized.

  • Team Work. Implementation of solutions which can stand the test of time can only be achieved by working in conjunction with our Clients with an ongoing ‘skills transfer’ process to key members of The Client’s Team. Close involvement of The Client’s Management Team encourages teamwork as well as “ownership” of the project.

  • Implementation. Where requested, LCI will develop a structured strategy and a detailed Project Plan and the variety of Action Plans for the successful implementation of the Plans approved by the Client. This is a key feature of the LCI Services.
